Four finishes. Different design choices.
Solid Color / High-Solids Epoxy
Appearance: A consistent color across the finished surface.
Discuss: The color, coating build, topcoat and texture appropriate to the space. Ask how surface repairs and existing slab condition affect the final appearance.
Bring to the estimate: Photos of the floor, existing paint or coatings, and your preferred color direction.
Decorative Flake / Polyaspartic
Appearance: A multicolor decorative flake finish, with a polyaspartic finish option.
Discuss: Flake blend, coverage and texture. Agree on any steps, edges or vertical surfaces included in the scope and review the actual system recommendation.
Bring to the estimate: A preferred blend or color family, floor photos and the areas you want included.
Metallic / Custom Designer Epoxy
Appearance: A flowing custom decorative pattern.
Discuss: Samples, color combinations, lighting and expectations for pattern variation. Each installation has its own appearance; an inspiration photo is a design reference.
Bring to the estimate: Design references and a description of the room’s intended use.
Quartz-Filled Epoxy
Appearance: An epoxy floor incorporating quartz aggregate.
Discuss: Aggregate appearance, surface texture and the cleaning routine for the area. Review the traffic, spill exposure and product requirements before choosing the system.
Bring to the estimate: Photos, floor area, usage and your current cleaning routine.
Suitability depends on the slab, moisture, exposure, traffic and selected products. We confirm the system and scope after assessment. No finish is slip-proof, and return-to-use instructions depend on the installation.
Does the concrete need work first?
A coating is a finish; it does not flatten every low spot or repair structural foundations. We assess surface damage and suitable repairs before recommending the preparation and coating scope.
Concrete repair, resurfacing and leveling
Does the floor need cleaning instead?
If the existing floor mainly needs cleaning or appropriate degreasing, ask about that service separately. Cleaning, surface restoration and a new coating are different scopes.

Questions before choosing a floor
Is one system always the best choice?
No. Appearance is one consideration, alongside the slab, moisture, traffic, exposure and cleaning needs. We review those conditions before recommending a system.
What is included in my floor estimate?
Agree on the floor area, preparation, removal of existing material, surface repairs, selected system, color or design and any steps or edges. Ask about access requirements, return-to-use instructions and care after installation.
How do I compare two floor quotes?
Compare the actual scope: preparation, repairs, coating system, finish, included areas and written project terms. A total price alone does not tell you whether the proposals cover the same work.
Can you give a price from photos?
Photos and measurements can help with an initial review. Final scope remains subject to moisture inspection and site approval. Share the city, approximate area, floor condition and the finish you have in mind.
Can the photo gallery tell me exactly which products were used?
Project photos show appearance and the transformation. Exact products, installation scope and conditions must be confirmed for each job. We will review the proposed system for your floor rather than infer its performance from a photo.
